Michael Douglas, Johnathon’s Sing or Shock challenge and Aron Ralston
Michael Douglas has been sporting a beard as of late. Apparently, he has recently shaved it off and his plastic surgery scars are now very evident. Rover said his neck looks like his scrotum. The guy has obviously had a lot of plastic surgery over the years and it is going to eventually catch up with you.
After all the fun with the shock collar yesterday, Rover and Dieter both said that Johnathon was strutting around like a hard ass. Rover decided to have some more fun with the shock collar today. They gave Johnathon the task of making up songs around random topics suggested by callers and with Dieter picking the music genre which ranged from Bluegrass to Rock.
The topics of the songs included Al Pacino, smack (as in ugly, not drugs), death from falling off the Golden Gate Bridge, DJ Jazzy Jim and Viagra. Johnathon did really well for the first couple songs. Then during the Al Pacino song, he ran into a lot of trouble. Rover ended up shocking him about a dozen times in total and Rover said Johnathon was sweating profusely. He tried the song five or six times and Rover said they weren’t going to take a commercial break until he got it right. They ended up going way over time for a break and Rover was forced to take a break.
Aron Ralston was finally on the show this morning. He was scheduled to be on about a week ago but that didn’t end up happening. He told the story of the fateful climb, which most people have probably heard. It is still hard for me to imagine someone climbing down the rest of the mountain and then hiking for almost five hours after they have already been out in the elements for six days and have just cut off their own arm. He is definitely a brave guy and deserves to be in the Miller Lite “Man Law” commercials. His book, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place” chronicles that day.
