Michael Douglas, Johnathon’s Sing or Shock challenge and Aron Ralston

Filed under: The Show — Justin @ 3:00 pm

Michael DouglasMichael Douglas has been sporting a beard as of late. Apparently, he has recently shaved it off and his plastic surgery scars are now very evident. Rover said his neck looks like his scrotum. The guy has obviously had a lot of plastic surgery over the years and it is going to eventually catch up with you.

After all the fun with the shock collar yesterday, Rover and Dieter both said that Johnathon was strutting around like a hard ass. Rover decided to have some more fun with the shock collar today. They gave Johnathon the task of making up songs around random topics suggested by callers and with Dieter picking the music genre which ranged from Bluegrass to Rock.

The topics of the songs included Al Pacino, smack (as in ugly, not drugs), death from falling off the Golden Gate Bridge, DJ Jazzy Jim and Viagra. Johnathon did really well for the first couple songs. Then during the Al Pacino song, he ran into a lot of trouble. Rover ended up shocking him about a dozen times in total and Rover said Johnathon was sweating profusely. He tried the song five or six times and Rover said they weren’t going to take a commercial break until he got it right. They ended up going way over time for a break and Rover was forced to take a break.

Between a Rock and a Hard Place : My Survival in Blue John CanyonAron Ralston was finally on the show this morning. He was scheduled to be on about a week ago but that didn’t end up happening. He told the story of the fateful climb, which most people have probably heard. It is still hard for me to imagine someone climbing down the rest of the mountain and then hiking for almost five hours after they have already been out in the elements for six days and have just cut off their own arm. He is definitely a brave guy and deserves to be in the Miller Lite “Man Law” commercials. His book, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place” chronicles that day.

Rover’s shock collar, Sex Changes and Justin Timberlake sex tape

Filed under: The Show — Justin @ 2:50 pm

Innotek TT-100A Track N Train Dog Training CollarRover brought his dog’s shock collar onto the show this morning. He tried to put it on his dog last night but his girlfriend started crying and told him it would hurt the dog. Rover brought it in to try it out on Dieter, DJ Jazzy Jim and Johnathon.

DJ Jazzy Jim put on the collar first. Rover wanted to try to break him of using his strip club DJ voice. He started out on level 1 (there are 4 levels) and worked his way up as he asked Jim questions and tried to get him to answer them in his regular voice. This all eventually escalated into a contest to see who could take the longest shock from level 4. Jim was able to last 11 seconds. Johnathon came in and put on the collar while talking trash to Jim. He did fine on levels 1 and 2 but started to squirm a bit on level 3. Level 4 was pretty painful for him but he managed to beat Jim’s time I think. The shocker either stopped working on ran out of batteries about that time.

There is a story in the news about a 6 year old boy who thinks he should be a girl. The parents of the child are encouraging this and telling him he should dress like a girl if he wants to do so. Rover said he thinks that this is ridiculous even though he believes people are born gay. The kid is 6 years of age, I don’t think there are a lot of important decisions you should be making at that age, a sex change being one of them. Several listeners called in with stories of sex changes. One girl’s father had become a women and another caller’s husband had dated someone who used to be a man.

There was a lot of talk this morning about sex, sexuality and swinging. Dieter brought up the fact that he thought he had seen a sex tape of Justin Timberlake in a hot tub on the internet. Dieter and Rover began looking for the video. Rover has to do something special to search for stuff like that because of their firewall there. They found the video but then had problems watching it.

Dieter re-enacts Ben Roethlisberger crash on a bicycle

Filed under: Dare Dieter — Justin @ 2:14 pm

Today’s Dare Dieter was for Dieter to re-enact the Ben Roethlisberger motorcycle crash with a few changes. Instead of riding a motorcycle, Dieter would ride a bicycle. He would also wear a helmet to prevent serious injury. A local car dealership donated a car to the show for Dieter to ride into.

I thought this Dare Dieter was a great idea from the get go. Dieter got on the bike, which was equipped with a bell and rode (fast) head on into the car. He smashed the windshield and almost went through it. DJ Jazzy Jim was inside the car taping it and was injured by flying glass. The dare is much better seen than heard, see the video here:
