From Detroit: Mary Jo Sanders, Mike Freeman and Lisa Guerrero
Mary Jo Sanders, WIBA Junior Welterweight title holder, was on Rover’s Morning Glory this morning. Mary Jo is from Detroit and is going to be at the Clutch Cargo’s tonight for the Miss Morning Glory calendar search party as a guest judge. Rover and Dieter both think Mary Jo is super attractive. Rover asked if she could beat him up, surprisingly she said no.
Mike Freeman, of ESPN, was on the show this morning. Mike writes a column for ESPN and has also written several sports related books. Rover asked Mike several questions about the Harold Reynolds situation. Harold is a black commentator for the “Baseball Tonight” segment on ESPN. He was fired for supposed sexual harassment and/or sexual involvement with several interns. Mike said Harold is a really great stand-up guy but that he had heard several rumors about him and various interns.
Lisa Guerrero, a sports broadcaster, was also on the show this morning. Lisa was a cheerleader for the Rams back in the 1980’s when they were based in Los Angeles. She was also on the TV show “Sunset Beach”. In 2003, Lisa began sideline reporting on Monday Night Football. Her performance was heavily criticized and she was eventually replaced by Michele Tafoya. Lisa appeared in the January 2006 issue of Playboy magazine as the cover girl. She is currently reporting on “The World Series of Pop Culture”.
